Venezuelan by birth, I'm a chemical engineer living in the United States since 2015. And before I tell you why I do what I do, I want to tell you a little about my story. My family has always had sensitive skin, specifically atopic dermatitis. Two years after arriving in the US, my youngest daughter (she was 8 years old) was diagnosed with psoriasis, and aside from all the steroids and creams the dermatologist prescribed her at the time, they recommended that I bathe her only once a week for a 3-minute soak, which worried me greatly. This led me to investigate what was happening to the water in Miami. So I began an in-depth investigation into water quality, and what I discovered shocked me so much that I decided I had to share it with more families who might be experiencing the same thing I did.

This experience changed my life, not only because we were able to improve the well-being of my entire family, but it also became our full-time job. Since then, my husband and I have helped hundreds of families in South Florida raise awareness about the water they consume, discover the damage it has caused to their health, and find an immediate solution to this problem. And just as we decided one day to share our experience with other families, many people have joined this mission, which has allowed us to create a wonderful community and team.
